Right now the scientific names on some species do not show on the site - we are working to fix this problem which should be solved after the back-up this morning.

The Cordillera Azul Antbird has recently been formally described. It occurs in Cordillera Azul in northern Peru.

It is not yet formally part of either Clements or IOC checklists, but it has since some time been possible to register observations of this taxon in iGoTerra. The Cordillera Azul Antbird and many other not yet published species can be found at Undescribed species on iGoTerra.

There is still no photo of Cordillera Azul Antbird in the iGoTerra photo gallery, so if you have one, please share it with the rest of the iGoTerra community.

If you have been fortunate enough to observe any of these yet undescribed species, you register these in exactly the same way as any other species. If and when they become formal part of your selected authoritative checklist (IOC or Clements), all your lists will be automatically updated.
